Ethiopian Thanksgiving Irreecha

Ethiopia’s largest ethnic group is to hold its major festival. Irreecha is a major event for about 40 million Oromo people.It’s held in Bishoftu city, southeast of the capital, Addis Ababa.The event this year could be particularly interesting, given recent reforms and a recent wave of ethnic violence that has displaced more than one million people this year alone.CGTN’s Girum Chala is at event and has sent this report.
