he Garifuna are the original inhabitants of the Caribbean sea. In Guatemala alone, there are around 12,000 of them, all of which who live in the coastal town of Livingston. In this video, one of the village leaders named Philip Flores tours me around his Garifuna settlement and shares stories of a side of Guatemala that they don’t want you to see.
